    We are a group of golfers, hackers and duffers that have one thing in common; we love the game of golf. We go by the name of Iron Thong Golf or ITG and you can find an explanation on our website.  We play a different course every weekend within a 60 mile radius of San Antonio.  And if you know San Antonio, you know we have a lot of courses to choose from.  We also golf year-round, what more could a golfer ask for? 

If you are interested in joining, please contact us for details, but here’s the readers digest version… Yearly membership costs you $40, which gets you a chance to play in the bi-yearly tournament, a USGA handicap, weekly and yearly statistics and of course, a good adjustment.

Here is the break down of how we work: 

• All Handicaps are welcome
• Our Bi-Annual Tournaments are in Oct and April
• We play by the rules and putt the ball down.
• We are a USGA Golf Club & track your handicap for you
• Every week you play, you pay your green fees + $1 Dues + $5 mandatory skins pool.
• You have the option to enter the weekly $5 Birdie Pool and/or the $5 Low Net Pool.
• All skin money not won goes into the kitty for the Bi-yearly Tournament. (Held at our home course)
• Ideally you must play 25 rounds with the ITG to be eligible to play in our tournament.  There are exceptions to every rule and we’ll explain in further detail if required.

 Each candidate for membership must be voted in by the Board of Directors
